4 days ago Samsung made a product page for Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. Obviously, the page can’t be found yet, but some images got already crawled by Google.
Performing Google image search, limited to Samsung website and last week, shows four medium-sized pictures of the new baby (see them below). Only Samsung made the Google-index mistake. There is still nothing about Galaxy on Barnes & Noble website.

Basically, the new Nook is the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with a software modified to be Nook-centered. Therefore, when it comes to the looks, it’s nothing new, so there is little to be excited about.
However, going into details makes things more interesting.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is white. There is no black version on Samsung website, so quite possibly the black version is out of the question.
There is no Nook branding on the bezel, either on front or back. It means that when it comes to the hardware nothing was done to make the device more “nookish”.
As you’ll see in the pictures below, the default settings should make it easy for users to access their Nook books.
The Nook library widget is dominating home screen. Also, there is a Nook button on the lock screen. Three special icons direct to Nook Shop, Nook Search, and Nook Today (daily offers).
We’ll see what the official announcement will add, or modify. One thing is clear. Nook owns one Samsung device. Kindle owns the rest.
