After eight months after the release of Barnes & Noble’s most advanced e-reader, the company has added new design to a tiny range of official Nook GlowLight covers.
Clip covers were a mistake. Looking great (obvious for Nook accessories) they lacked functionality, were a poor imitation of Apple Smart Covers, and gathered all but good reviews.
If you were waiting for new Nook-branded accessories, B&N has added new design to the line of official Nook GlowLight covers.
The cover, called Dessin Leather Sleeve, is available in two colors, Green and Marine, and costs $15.96 (already discounted from $19.95). It’s a simple sleeve, so there is not too much to spoil.
It’s strange that Barnes & Noble is putting so little attention to their flagship e-reader, especially compared to it’s predecessor, Nook Simple Touch, where numerous great-looking covers and accessories were available.
Maybe it’s good that the new Nook-branded tablet, planned to launch in the early August, will me made together with Samsung – the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.
All Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 covers, cases, and sleeves will fit the 2014 Nook tablet, so there will be a plenty of them to choose from.
